national tourism agency VisitBritain (VB) has launched its new website, which it
says “gives customers from around the
world a unique opportunity to be inspired to come to Britain”.
VisitBritain.com will be VB’s main international communications
platform and will be customised according to where the visitor comes from, with 22 languages available. Social
media including Twitter and Facebook
will also be incorporated into the site.

marketing for VB, Laurence Bresh. “Our current 32m overseas visitors contribute
£16.5bn of revenue to the UK economy. We have stretching
targets to grow that figure, so it is vital that we inspire them and make it
straightforward for them to plan their visit here.”
