Kidz South event to showcase services for disabled children

As the
Government pledges £340m in
equipment and wheelchair services,
short breaks and palliative care for disabled children, Kidz South, a free
exhibition and conference dedicated to the needs of disabled children, takes
place on 24 June in Reading.

The
event will feature around 90 exhibitors aimed at disabled children, their families, carers and
health care professionals.

“We have
some excellent speakers presenting
our free seminar sessions who can provide information on best practice, new
research and good practical advice,” said a spokesperson for the show organiser,
Disabled Living. “For professional visitors, certificates of attendance are
available to support their continued professional development.”

Kidz South
takes place at the Rivermead Leisure
Centre.
