Duke of Kent views planned event facilities at Center Parcs

On 15 June, Center Parcs
welcomed HRH Duke of
Kent to its head office as
part of a tour of the Energy
Village in North
Nottinghamshire.

The Duke was able to see
Center Parcs’ plans for a fifth UK site, at Woburn Forest in Bedfordshire. The site includes
corporate events facilities, which are due for completion in 2013.

A Center Parcs’
spokesperson says the Duke was keen to hear about the venue’s contribution to
the local economy as it employs over 1,500 staff at Sherwood Forest and over 250 staff at its head
office.
