Specialist business tourism PR agency, Davies Tanner, figured in the
PR Week Top 150 league table for
the second year. The 2010 listing puts the agency at number 125, with fee income
reportedly growing nine per cent to £1,063,000. It is the first time DT’s fee
income has broken through the £1m fee barrier.
Davies Tanner client development director, Jane Hague, says: “Whilst 2009 was a challenging year for most agencies, our
performance shows the resilience of the business tourism market, and also the
importance that our clients now place on public relations as part of their wider
sales and marketing strategies. Our role now is about generating revenue for our
clients, whilst at the same time increasing their reputation; the two main
factors crucial to business success.”
Average growth across all 150 agencies listed by PR Week was 0.75 per cent.
Davies Tanner has offices in London,
Edinburgh and Barcelona, and a team of 25 PR professionals.
