SNP gathers clans at Macdonald Aviemore

The Scottish National Party is expecting to
attract 800 guests to its 20-21 March 2010 conference at the Macdonald Aviemore
Resort in Scotland.

The agenda includes motions on a range of
topics from pensioner poverty, Lottery funding and rural tourism, to Scotland’s alcohol problems.

With a general election looming, exhibitors
include Amnesty International, Oxfam, Scottish Federation of Housing
Associations, RSPB and Scottish Breast Cancer
Campaign.

Rt Hon Alex Salmond MSP, SNP leader and First
Minister, says: “The Macdonald Aviemore Resort is ideally placed, right in the
heart of Scotland, for our forthcoming
conference, where we’ll be working towards building a more successful
nation.”
