The president of space travel pioneer Virgin Galactic, Will Whitehorn, is to give a presentation at this month’s Business Travel and Meetings Show.
Virgin Galactic is a company within Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Group and has plans to provide sub-orbital spaceflights to the paying public, along with suborbital space science missions and orbital launches of small satellites.
Will Whitehorn’s session, entitled The Final Frontier of Business Travel, has been designed for those who think taking a business trip into space is but a dream.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome Will Whitehorn to BTMS 2010,” says event director David Chapple.
“If a quick preview of his presentation and the Virgin Galactic website is anything to go by, he’ll have us all reaching for our wallets to find the $20,000 deposit for a flight in space!”
The Business Travel and Meetings Show will be opened by Liberal Democrat Shadow Secretary of State for Transport Norman Baker MP.
The show takes place 9-10 February 2010 at Earls Court.
