Unique Venues of London launch party hits 500

Marketing organisation
Unique Venues of London’s (UVL) launched its 2010 brochure to an audience of
more than 500 at the Tate Britain.

The event, held at the UVL
member venue, 1 February, hosted bookers, buyers as well as representatives from
all 69 UVL members. This list includes the Guildhall, Westminster Abbey, London
Dungeon and the British Museum.

Chairman of UVL and
corporate sales manager of the London Eye, Lisa Hatswell, says: “We’re thrilled
with the turnout and success of our first ever brochure launch
party”.

Guests were greeted with a
timeline projection, supplied by Event Concept, depicting the origin of each of
its venues.

Entertainment included a
performance by Private Drama’s circus act ‘Serenity’, who performed an aerial
set under Tate Britain’s domed ceiling. Sternberg
Clarke provided DJ Lindsay Evans to entertain guests until the unique night’s
end.
