A touch of Japan in London

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has announced Tokyo
Day is to be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London.

The event, designed to attract visitors to the Japanese
capital by showcasing its culture, is to be held 28-31 January 2010 and is
expected to draw in over 2,000 visitors.

“The QEIICC is delighted to be chosen as the venue for
this exciting event, which promotes the excitement and diversity of Tokyo as a visitor, both
leisure and trade, destination. We look forward to working with Tokyo Convention
and Visitors Bureau to deliver a successful event,” says Sue Etherington, acting
commercial director at The QEIICC.

The event has a trade day on 28 January, expected to
attract around 400 trade visitors, and then two public days on 30 and 31
