Working with the adage ‘You
make up your mind in five seconds’, Lime Venue Portfolio has been using online
social networking sites to win several business contracts.
The portfolio has increased its
web presence comes after business wins through Facebook, YouTube and Twitter,
including a wedding for 100 guests, which was sourced and confirmed through
Couple Nicola Webb and Simon
Parker took the decision to move from their original wedding venue to Lime Venue
Portfolio’s Beaulieu after seeing pictures of the historic venue on Facebook.
“We use Facebook a great deal
to communicate with friends and family, but we certainly didn’t expect to find
the venue of our dreams through it,” says Webb.
Head of Lime Venue Portfolio,
Louise Amphlett, says: “The web is increasingly taking over from ‘word of mouth’
recommendations when choosing a venue for a private or corporate function. We
will be encouraging all of the venues that make up Lime Venue Portfolio to take
heed of Beaulieu and maximise on their social media presence.”
