WorldEvents expands European operation

The WorldEvents Group has continued its expansion into
mainland Europe with the opening of new offices in Munich
and Zurich and expanding its existing Amsterdam hub operation.

The Amsterdam office has seen
a significant growth in headcount to support continuing business development
success. Staff numbers have now reached 13 since the office first opened
resulting in the company moving to larger premises.

Commenting on the
continued expansion, WorldEvents director Europe Andrew Winterburn, says: “The expansion
cements our position in Europe and delivers
against our strategy. We plan to continue our growth into additional markets
key to our strategic plans in 2010.”

Since opening in 2008 the team have already coordinated
events in destinations such as Munich, Paris, Barcelona, Lyon, Chicago, Leiden, Pisa, Utrecht, Shanghai, Stockholm, Amsterdam, and Seville for clients such
as Astellas, Abbott Vascular and Johnson and Johnson.
