Autumnal gold for OGGS

The One
Great George Street has achieved achieved the gold
standard in the Meetings Industry Association’s AIM accreditation
scheme.

AIM at entry level is now compulsory for all MIA
members, but for the gold award a venue has to demonstrate continuous
exceptional standards against stringent quality
criteria.

Says director of OGGS Gary Payne says: “Achievement of
these higher levels sends such a positive signal to both our existing and
potential clients that superior service levels of service and hospitality have
been achieved by all members of the professional team here.”

The venue replaced its 394-square metre floor in the
Great Hall at a cost of £64,000 in the summer and is having gold leaf work done
on the main gates and on the marble work and pillars in the Great Hall. The hall
was featured in several scenes of the recent In the Loop
movie.
