Eight Park Plaza hotels join MIA

Park Plaza Hotels have joined the Meetings Industry Association (MIA) as full
members, and each has been awarded Accredited In Meetings (AIM) at entry level.

Bridge London will be opening early in 2010, meaning Park Plaza
will have 1,800 rooms on the Southbank and 51 meeting rooms.

MIA will hold its AGM in London
25 January 2010. The meeting will be a short, sharp afternoon affair with a
networking element and is free to attend. The MIA says its annual
conference, which in recent years has followed the AGM, will not be held until
late spring or early summer.
