events enquiries generated at Event UK, held at The NEC this
The partnership made up of Experience
Nottinghamshire, Nottingham Conferences, the Nottingham Hoteliers Associations
and Nottingham Arena joined forces at the show with a new, bigger stand,
proving it is possible to win business in a difficult economic climate.
Marketing manager for Nottingham Conferences,
Kirstie Danzey, says the partnership proved “hugely successful in persuading
more businesses to look at Nottingham’s
offering?we picked up some great enquiries during the show, our first in fact
coming just ten minutes after opening”.
The county’s venues include the 10,000
capacity Nottingham Arena and purpose-built East Midlands Conference Centre, to
more historic sites such as the Albert Hall and Newstead Abbey.
