Events and communications specialist Grass Roots has been chosen as one
of Shell’s five preferred agencies for global meetings and events. The
agreement is for three and a half years and will include delegate
management, live production and communications.
Grass Roots will deliver two significant events in 2010 for the
petrochemical company and global head of events, Nick Bender, says: We

Meanwhile, Grass Roots’ incentive arm has been reappointed by De Vere
Hotels, Resorts and Venues to run a programme targeted at meetings
bookers. Under a ‘Showtime’ theme, Grass Roots will run the Velocity
Rewards scheme through to the end of April 2010.
Bookers can collect points for each enquiry they make for meeting space
at any De Vere property in the UK, redeeming them for a range of
‘Showtime’ related goods and experiences.
The scheme follows on from a similar promotion that Grass Roots
developed last year for De Vere, known as ‘Makeover’, which was also
aimed at rewarding loyal meeting bookers.
