Making space for a whisky experience

The Scotch Whisky Experience visitor attraction at the top of Edinburgh’s historic Royal Mile, has unveiled a new corporate entertaining space following a £3m facelift.

The floor-to-ceiling glass vault now also provides a unique private dining space within what is the world’s largest collection of Scotch whiskies,.

Guests can browse nearly 3,500 bottles which span centuries, as well as sample contemporary Scottish cuisine created by the award-winning chefs from Amber restaurant.

General manager Susan Morrison says: “This investment has created a 21st century experience for visitors that will inspire and enthuse them about Scotch whisky and its importance to Scotland. With the demonstration and bar area and our atmospheric vault, we are now able to combine the finest in Scottish food and drink with an unforgettable venue for corporate entertaining.”

The new space is also available for receptions and events, catering to up to 60 guests.
