The International Special Events Society UK has appointed four meetings industry heavyweights to advise the association during its next phase of development.
Former ISES UK president and MD of industry PR company Davies Tanner, Robert Wright, and former commercial director at Visit London David Hornby are two of the names drafted in to give a steer to ISES UK policy. They are joined by Dr Joe Goldblatt, professor and executive director at the International Centre for the Study of Planned Events at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, and Kim Myhre, MD EMEA at global experiential marketing agency George P Johnson.
ISES UK holds its AGM and Summer Party 21 July and incoming ISES UK president, Visit London’s Zanine Adams says: “This is a highly talented and respected line up of industry figures with an enormous amount of experience, skill and contacts. We are so grateful for their valuable time and advice, which I know will benefit the membership and the entire association and help us to achieve our plans over the next three years.”
The advisors will take on honorary roles on behalf of the association and commence their work on 1 August as the new ISES board also begin its duties.
