Sodexo, the French catering and services group which won the contract for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games, has seen an 8.8 per cent increase in revenue.
CEO Michel Landel says the results for the first nine months of its 2009 fiscal year to 31 May are in line with expectations. “Sodexo continues to grow and is on track to achieve its objectives for the current fiscal year.”
The company reported an 8.2 per cent increase in organic revenue growth in its food and facilities management services in the UK and Ireland. In Continental Europe declining levels of activity in corporate services and sports and leisure resulted in only 1.2 per cent growth.
North America saw a three per cent increase in revenue, while the rest of the world saw a growth of 14.9 per cent.
