UVL Expo

Unique Venues London, a collection of 69 of the most distinctive event venues in the capital, including the Natural History and Science Museums, London Eye, the Tate Britain and Tate Modern, Somerset House and HMS Belfast, held an inaugural Expo in conjunction with Visit London, 4 June.

UVL member The Royal Opera House hosted the event and the format was, UVL chair Lisa Hatswell tells CN, focussed on the direct B2B meetings format with over 200 invited organisers, agents, buyers and media representatives attending. The ROH also provided an exclusive backstage highlights tour and a business breakfast.

“There was a real need for serious B2B event so that visitors can get around all 69 venue stands in one morning. We understand people have less time and both venues and buyers are looking for solutions in these difficult times. Hopefully, we have provided some solutions today.”

UVL’s members accommodated nearly 25,000 events last year between them.

Visit London backed the event with marketing support, advice and access to relevant databases.
