Up to 100 senior executives in procurement and events are expected at the second annual Meetings Management Forum, 26 June at Dexter House in the City of London. The forum is organised by events communications specialists Grass Roots.
Senior representatives from venues and hotel groups will also join confirmed speakers and panelists from Barclays, Cable & Wireless, GE Healthcare, Pfizer and SWIFT to discuss topics including regional and global meetings consolidation, purchasing meetings and events in a recession and maximising the return on investment and objective of your events. There will also be a live virtual meetings demonstration.
MD of Grass Roots HBI Des McLaughlin, says: “The aim of the event is to bring together around 100 people in senior management, including our clients and venues, to hear how some of the UK’s top companies are tackling meetings & events management in the current economic climate and to discuss best practice.“
Each issue discussed will be examined from the perspectives of buyer, supplier and intermediary.
The forum builds on the 3rd annual Meetings Industry Report, published earlier in the year by Grass Roots HBI.
