Lime Venue Portfolio, part of the Compass Group, has secured the high profile new home of Cardiff City Football Club and Cardiff Blues Rugby Club into its expanding venue collection. The new stadium and purpose built conference and banqueting suite is due to open in July and joins the Millennium Stadium and Swansea City’s Liberty Stadium, under the brand’s strong presence in South Wales.

The new venue will boast one of the largest conference and event facilities in Wales, with a dedicated events entrance and reception.

Amphlett says Lime will offer entirely locally sourced menu options and the two large conference rooms will be able to host 750 and 550 for banqueting and conferences. Both rooms will have views of the pitch and the Leckworth Hills. Both are to be fitted with Wi-Fi and high speed broadband. The stadium also boasts large and flexible exhibition space and, because it is part of the stadium, access to in excess of 1,000 free car parking spaces.
