Unique Venues of London (UVL), a marketing collection of some of the most distinctive event venues in the capital, is asking event bookers to save the date on 4 June 2009 for UVL’s first ever ‘expo’.
The Royal Opera House will host the half-day event, to be jointly organised with Visit London, in its Paul Hamlyn Hall, where guests will be invited for breakfast and registration from 8.30am, followed by an opportunity explore all 69 member venues, including Somerset House, Christ Church Spitalfields, Kew Gardens and the Foundling Museum.
Guests will also receive an backstage highlights tour of the Royal Opera House before departing at 12.30pm.
Chairman of UVL and corporate sales manager at the London Eye, Lisa Hatswell, says: “With such a diversity of venues, the ‘expo’ will enable bookers short on time to preview all UVL members in just one morning. We hope that bookers will be inspired by our range of historic and modern venues, which can accommodate events from five to 2,000, and as such are hoping this will become an annual event not to be missed”.
