Rees urges associations to ‘put aside agenda and work together’

Chair of ICCA UK & Ireland Chapter, James Rees, has called upon UK associations to collaborate more closely in these times of recession.

The Chapter is to invite the events industry associations to come together later in the year to share knowledge and best practice.

“We have some outstanding people in this industry with an extraordinary amount of talent and knowledge, and it is time that these skills and resources were shared for the benefit of all,” says Rees.

“All associations have their own unique profile and agendas, but if there was a time when it was necessary to put aside those agendas and work together, now is it.”
