The NEC Birmingham is launching an initiative with creative agency drpgroup to offer packages to conference organisers, which drp MD Dale Parmenter tells conference-news, could save 30-40 per cent off 2008 prices.

Parmenter describes the initiative as a joint venture that offers all services, from the moment clients take up hall tenancy to the creative delivery of the event itself.
The big savings, he says, can come when the client can be flexible on dates. “In venue downtime we can offer some incredible deals.”
Sales director at The NEC Michael Watton says: “By pooling the resources and experience of our two companies, we are helping our clients and customers to maintain high profile events at a time when budgets are under considerable pressure.”
