Liverpool’s Arena and Convention Centre will launch an initiative at IMEX in Frankfurt next month to help event organisers measure ROI and maximise event spend at the venue. The campaign, Keep Meeting, is designed to support Visit Britain’s ‘value’ theme for the show this year, explains BT Convention Centre’s General Manager at ACC Liverpool Jacquie Rogers.
“The aim of the campaign is to assist organisers to demonstrate ROI within their own organisations and to offer maximum-value service to planners holding events within our venue,” says Rogers.
“In the current uncertain economic climate, external costs are under increasing scrutiny to ensure that any spend is delivering a real return, leading in some cases to a knee-jerk reaction with event budgets cut or cancelled altogether. With the Keep Meeting initiative, we are supporting event organisers on two levels: offering practical guidelines to help clients measure event ROI; and providing a range of added-value services and quality delivery within our venue.”
