ISES UK elects new president

Sales manager and head of event solutions at Visit London Zanine Adams has been named president-elect of the UK Chapter of the International Special Event Society for the 2009-2010 term. Adams will be the first female President for the UK chapter for over a decade.

Asked about any policy priorities, Adams tells Conference-news.co.uk: “There are certainly many changes that I would like to implement during my tenure, continuing on with some of Will Broome’s excellent ideas, while also providing more of a structure and focus for the membership. We certainly do need to focus on working together as an industry, raising the profile of the association, whilst not forgetting who we are, incorporating the creative energy and expertise of the specialists we have within the ISES community.”

Adams will take up the role at the beginning of July 2009.
